Dye Sublimation Thermal Print CP-330 and CP-220 feature 300 x 300 dpi resolution using a dye sublimation thermal print method of applying Yellow, Magenta and Cyan colors to specially prepared Canon photo paper. For high colour fidelity and photo realism, 256 levels per colour can be applied. Users can enjoy watching the additive process in action, as a different colour is applied with each pass of the photo paper through the printer body. During a fourth and final pass, a fast-drying protective coating is applied to the surface of the prints giving them high quality and durability comparable to prints produced in a commercial photo laboratory. PictBridge™ Compatibility As with other Canon CP printers, both the CP-330 and CP-220 support Canon Camera Direct. But now they are also PictBridge-compatible, allowing direct printing when connected to any PictBridge-compatible digital camera. And on the CP-330 and CP-220, PictBridge now supports a greater number of enhanced functions than on the predecessor models. Automatic Dynamic Range Correction The CP-330 and CP-220 can be connected to any PictBridge compatible camera. However, brightness of prints may vary depending on the characteristics of the camera connected. To compensate for any potential unevenness in brightness or contrast when using PictBridge, the CP-330 and CP-220 incorporate a new Automatic Dynamicrange Correction function to optimize image quality. New 4" x 8" Greeting Card Prints The CP-330 and CP-220 print in a total of four sizes: postcard size, L size, credit-card size, and the new wide size 100 x 200mm (4 x 8 in.) greeting cards. The CP-330 and CP-220 provide each print with a durable protective print overcoating that preserves your photos for just as long as prints from a photo lab. Wide size prints take 106 seconds, postcard size 85 seconds, L size 70 seconds, and credit-card sized prints take 40 seconds to produce. Prints can be handled immediately. ID Photo Print and Movie Print For a full page of ID prints, simply connect your digital camera to a CP-330 or CP-220. With reference to the typical ID photo sizes of up to 28 different countries or regions provided in the printers, just crop your recorded image to the size required and print. Movie Print feature relives those magic moments in slow motion by printing your favourite movie clips sequentially. The printer automatically calculates the interval based on the length of the movie and the number of still images required.
